"Heart of Jesus, burning with Love of us, inflame our hearts with LOVE of Thee!"

What does it mean to have your heart inflamed with LOVE for Christ? It means that your heart is transformed by LOVE which is wholly divine…..a LOVE which is pure and holy. Pure LOVE has no expectations, no conditions, and no limits. Holy LOVE is absolute and made perfect through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit within our souls.

How would one acquire such divine LOVE? By frequently visiting our Lord during Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, by becoming more faithful to daily prayer during which we consecrate ourselves to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and by devotion to the holy Mass which showers our souls with many graces.

LOVE is the lamp that lights the soul and brings joy to our hearts and faces.

"I do not regret that I have given myself to LOVE."

~Saint Therese of Lisieux

We were created out of LOVE, by LOVE, and for LOVE therefore our whole mission in life is to LOVE:

To LOVE the Lord with all our hearts and above all things.

And to LOVE our neighbor as ourselves.

"We become what we LOVE and who we LOVE shapes what we become. If we LOVE things, we become a thing. If we LOVE nothing, we become nothing. Imitation is not a literal mimicking of Christ, rather it means becoming the image of the beloved, an image disclosed through transformation. This means we are to become vessels of God´s compassionate LOVE for others."

~Saint Clare of Assisi

If we neglect to LOVE then we miss much joy and the purpose of life.

"I came to You late, O Beauty so ancient and new. I came to LOVE You late. You were within me and I was outside where I rushed about wildly searching for You like some monster loose in Your beautiful world. You were with me but I was not with You. You called me, You shouted to me, You wrapped me in Your Splendour, You broke past my deafness, You bathed me in Your Light, You sent my blindness reeling. You gave out such a delightful fragrance and I drew it in and came breathing hard after You. I tasted, and it made me hunger and thirst; You touched me, and I burned to know Your Peace."

~Saint Augustine of Hippo

"To fall in LOVE with God is the greatest of romances, to seek Him the greatest adventure, to find Him the greatest human achievement."

~Saint Augustine of Hippo

When we have a true LOVE for Christ then we have a true LOVE for all of creation.

"The saints LOVE everyone…..Their hearts, inflamed with Divine LOVE, are dilated in proportion to the number of souls that God puts in their way." ~Saint Jean Marie Baptiste Vianney, The Curé D’Ars

It is all about LOVE because God is LOVE!

There is no greater power over evil than LOVE! In the end LOVE will triumph all darkness!

LOVE is more powerful than death! This is made visible to us in the Resurrection of Christ.

LOVE is Sacrifice! LOVE hung on the cross and died for our sins.

"Sacrifice is the language of LOVE. It is the proof of LOVE. It is the food of LOVE. It is the atmosphere of LOVE. It is especially the source of our growth in LOVE." ~Father John A. Hardon, S.J.

"LOVE is a mighty power, a great and complete good; LOVE alone lightens every burden, and makes the rough places smooth. It bears every hardship as though it were nothing, and renders all bitterness sweet and acceptable. The LOVE of Jesus is noble, and inspires us to great deeds; it moves us always to desire perfection."

~Thomas A. Kempis

Mother Teresa’s wisdom shows us how important LOVE is in the short story below:

A man approached Mother Teresa and said,

"Mother, I want to do something great for God, but I don't know what. Should I start a school, be a missionary in a foreign land, build up a charitable agency?"

He had great visions. Mother Teresa looked at him closely, with kindness, and responded:

"What you need to do is make sure that no one in your family goes unloved."

"Above all, LOVE each other deeply, because LOVE covers over a multitude of sins." 1 Peter 4:8-9

Therefore my friends LOVE with all your hearts and let nothing hold you back! God bless you!
